Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? It’s true! It has been observed in the U.S. since 1949 and was started by the National Association of Mental Health as a way to educate others on what they can do for their mental health or the health of a loved one who has experienced a trauma, provide advise on coping with anxiety, stress, anger and frustration, and dealing with big changes in our lives.
According to NAMI.org, 1 out of 5 adults are suffering from some kind of mental illness and unfortunately, only about have of them are getting the treatment that they need. Would you help me create awareness for mental health? You can be the difference to day in letting somebody know that they are not alone; that there is somebody here to listen, somebody here that could give them a word of encouragement, or possibly even lead them to where they can get the support they need.
I really do appreciate your time and I hope you have a wonderful day.
